In plain English: When you book us, you agree to a written flat-rate quote based on what you told us. A $150 deposit holds your date and comes off the total. We move your goods carefully with standard coverage included; we can’t haul hazardous items or live plants, and a few rules below keep everyone clear on how it works.
Terms of Service
These terms cover moving services provided by Mr Mover Atlanta to customers in Atlanta, GA and on our long-distance routes. Booking a move means you accept them.
Quotes and booking
Your written quote is based on the home size, item list, access, and details you provide during the survey. If what we find on move day differs in a way that changes the work, such as extra rooms, items not listed, or access we weren’t told about, we’ll talk it through and adjust the number before proceeding. A $150 deposit reserves your date and applies to your final total.
Payment
Local moves are billed at the agreed flat rate or hourly figure ($145/hr for a two-mover crew, $205/hr with three). Long-distance moves run on a binding written quote starting at $2,290. The balance is due on delivery unless we’ve arranged otherwise in writing.
Liability and coverage
Released-value protection of $0.60 per pound per item is included at no charge, as required under the Georgia DPS standard. Full-value protection is available for an added cost if you’d like fuller coverage — ask and we’ll set it up before move day. Claims for loss or damage should reach us promptly so we can resolve them fairly.
What we can’t move
We cannot transport hazardous materials, including propane, fuel, paint, and ammunition, or live plants. You’re responsible for those items yourself.
Cancellation
Reschedule or cancel with reasonable notice and your deposit moves to the new date or is refunded. Same-day cancellations may forfeit the deposit, since the crew and truck were already committed. Questions? Call (888) 711-4778 or email [email protected].
